Damilola Adetunji

Damilola Adetunji is a partner and the head of the Corporate Finance Practice practice group at Odujinrin & Adefulu.

She has over twenty-two (22) years of professional experience advising on corporate finance, banking, project finance, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market transactions.

Damilola routinely advises market-leading corporates including development finance institutions, commercial banks, multilateral lending agencies, national and international oil and gas companies, project sponsors and developers, among others.

She has in-depth understanding of the policy, legal and regulatory framework governing the Nigerian finance industry with extensive experience advising on cross-border financing transactions.

She has been consistently ranked as a leading lawyer in corporate, banking & finance and capital markets practice areas by some of the world’s most reputable independent legal directories including Chambers and Partners (Global), Who’s Who Legal, Legal 500, and IFLR 1000.

She is dual qualified and licensed to practice in the State of New York, in the United States of America and in Nigeria. Before joining Odujinrin & Adefulu, Damilola practiced with various law firms in the United States of America.

Damilola has held various positions on the Executive Committee of the Nigerian Capital Market Solicitors Association. She currently serves as an Independent Nonexecutive Director on the board of Chapel hill Denham Advisory Limited – an investment bank based in Nigeria. She also serves as a trustee of several non-profit organisations.
