Electricity & Renewables
The global attention placed on energy transition has brought the electricity sector into the spotlight, setting the stage for ongoing reforms in the industry for decades to come. Recognizing the immense challenges faced by businesses and government entities alike, our team stands ready to lead the way in supporting industry participants across all levels. We leverage our extensive experience in shaping past debates on electricity sector reforms to provide the necessary guidance and support.
Furthermore, with the ongoing reforms and government-led developments in Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Gas-to-Power, NIPP Projects, Rural Electrifications, Embedded Projects, MAP regime, and the devolution of responsibilities to state governments, Nigeria’s electricity industry is witnessing a platform for private sector-led growth. In the near to medium term, we anticipate a substantial demand for local and foreign financing to support increased generation capacity, as well as capital projects aimed at modernizing the aging transmission and distribution infrastructure.
Our team possesses profound expertise in electricity regulations, transactions, and financing, positioning us perfectly to provide the support required to further advance this ever-evolving industry.
